With i.MX 8M Plus processor for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning due to Neural Processing Unit processing up to 2.3 TOPS is an intelligent vision system based on Dual Image Signal Processor with resolution up to 12MP and input rate up to 375MPixel/if a single interface in CSI MIPI for cameras.

Application Fields
Machine learning has a wide range of application fields in different areas. Some examples include:
- Image recognition : machine learning is used to develop patterns that can be used to recognize objects, faces, actions, and other elements within images or videos. This finds application in fields such as :
- Surveillance: thanks to Artificial Intelligence, the video surveillance system can recognize images, voices and even text taken by cameras for example:
- Distinguish a human, from an animal or object
- Recognize a face in a crowd
- Count the number of objects and/or people at a given point
- Analyze vehicles by license plate, model or color
- Extrapolate the average age and sex of a person
